Nicole graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland in 1999. She has worked in private practice ever since, giving her 23 years of experience in managing musculoskeletal injuries. Nicole strongly believes that education is an integral part of treatment to allow you to manage your condition as easily as possible as well as to avoid future concerns. She adopts a wide variety of hands on treatment techniques and complements this with exercises designed for you.
Nicole is a former Australian representative ice skater which was an integral part of her life throughout her childhood, teens and into adulthood. This gives her a valuable insight into the importance of correct management of sporting injuries at any age group. She enjoys working with ice skaters now to combine her knowledge of the sport with her professional skills.
Nicole holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Card and Blue Card.
Melanie completed a sports science degree prior to doing her masters in Physiotherapy in 2006 at the University of Sydney.
Melanie has a special interest in women’s health, particularly pelvic floor rehabilitation through exercise. She also has experience in hydrotherapy, clinical Pilates, dry needling and is passionate about helping people reach their goals and find their inner belief.
Melanie also has significant experience working as a sports physiotherapist and has supported athletes across many different sports in their rehabilitation and injury prevention including tennis, AFL, rugby, dance and netball. She has combined this sporting knowledge with her passion for supporting people with disability in working with Tennis Australia and providing Physiotherapy services for the athletes of the Paralympics.
From rotator cuff tears to ankle ligament sprains, and from cervical and tension headaches to debilitating low back pain, we have extensive experience in treating any musculoskeletal complaint that you may have. We are also highly experienced in post-operative rehabilitation and work with a number of local specialists and allied health practitioners on a regular basis.
Melanie has a special interest in women's health physiotherapy.

Pain that lasts more than 3 months is classified as chronic and often requires a different approach than acute pain. Nicole has been trained in the "Explain Pain" approach and has had amazing success in helping patients with chronic pain such as CRPS and fibromyalgia.
Nicole also works with clients with hypermobility disorders such as EDS and HSD using a combination approach.
